Things the TL and the library can do to help:

Team teaching on research projects.

Teach students about information literacy and how to find good information on the internet.

Guide students on finding resources in the library.

Preparing books/information/websites for student groups.

Preparing/locating Webquests on different topics (minimises straying on the internet).

Teach students how to reference and write bibliographies.

What teachers can do:

Book into the library with plenty of notice and discuss with the TL how best your students can be assisted.

Never assume students are information literate... they may know how to Google, but do they know good information when they see it?
