These are the stages of the Information Process...


1.      Define information needs

Brainstorm ideas, what do I need to know?

2.      Locate information:

Identify sources of information,

3.      Select information:

Record main ideas, keywords, relationship of ideas to one another,

4.      Organise information:

Compare, select,  combine what is relevant to task, organise according to an agreed format

5.      Creating and sharing information:

Present response to task which conveys understanding and interpretation of information

6.      Evaluating information and the information process:

Self assess:  Did I answer the question and present the information appropriately?
